Friendship Partner Program
The Friendship Partner Program is designed to promote relationship and understanding between members of the community and international students/visiting scholars. Americans from a number of local churches have volunteered to partner with international students, scholars, and families for the time you are here. In this program you can share informal meetings, meals, outings, and holiday celebrations to give you a more personal view of American life. Because friendship takes time to develop, we ask both internationals and Americans to make a commitment to meet about once a month. However, the program is very flexible and activities are arranged to meet the schedules of both the Americans and the students.
